Reclaiming the Seven Mountains of Influence

Revelation 17:1–6 paints a picture of the current occupancy and manipulation of the seven mountains of influence. A woman (idolatrous and adulterous spirit) arrayed in purple and scarlet (symbol of royalty) is seen riding a scarlet beast (a form religion), full of blasphemous names, having seven heads (mountains of influence) and ten horns (governmental authority).

Kings and the inhabitants of the earth, through blood sacrifices (the blood of the saints) commit fornication (covenant) with this idolatrous and adulterous spirit for the sake of wealth and influence. This spirit controls and manipulates the seven mountains of influence since the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3).

Luke 4:5-7 (NIV): 5 “And the devil led him up to a high place and shewed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. 6 And he said to him, “All this power will I give you all their authority and splendour; it has been given to me, and I will give it to anyone I want to. 7 If you worship me, it will all be yours…”

We are dutybound to occupy and influence every sphere of influence in society. MEA unreservedly, unapologetically accepts this mandate and brings God’s dominion to each of the seven mountains as follows:

MEA champions moral regeneration, transforming one soul at a time to influence the seven spheres of society to conduct business God’s way.

Through sound doctrine infused into homes, religiosity and corruption are purged out of society. Matthew 28:18–20, “GO, THEREFORE AND DISCIPLE ALL NATIONS” mandate comes alive through prophetic gatherings, youth outreach programs (in schools, camps, conferences, symposiums, substance abuse awareness campaigns), literature and other media platforms.

Farm lands provide training centers, schools of faith where labourers are released into the harvest, in partnership with credible local and international institutions. While esteeming the spiritual programs and accreditations offered by institutions of faith, MEA also develops content and curriculums invariably imbued with its own divine blueprint.

There is a symbiotic relationship between MEA and farming, like that of faith and seeding. As God the creator of the land provides rain to nourish the harvest, MEA raises altars on each of the seven mountains of influence where God blesses the land, and the land tithes back to God by financing the programs of MEA. MEA strongly believes in supporting the work of ministry.

2Timothy 2:6 (NIV): “The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops.

1Corinthians 9:7, 11: 7 (NIV): “Who ever goes to war at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat not of its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not eat of the milk of the flock? 11 “If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things?”

“There is a spiritual presence on the farm and in the land Here. FAITH, COMMITMENT, and INTEGRITY PROVIDE strength. For the unwavering labor that is the foundation of life itself…” – Bonnie Mohr Mountain #1

Family is the foundation of human conduct, a source of values and culture of society. Socioeconomic transformation or degeneration begin in the family. Success or failure of vision, ethical or corrupt governance systems, effective or ineffectual education systems trace their DNA back to the families from which people come.

This understanding propels MEA to partner with God in modelling sound, Bible-based family values. Great families build great nations; it is said of Abraham: “For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him…” (Gen 18:19 KJV)

MEA influences family values with the word of Christ, restoring family bonds, prosperity and honour. Sons are brought back into the Father’s hand where they are forgiven, affirmed, healed of childhood traumas, given the heart of the father (the excellent spirit) and turned into “Global Oaks of Righteousness” that influence the seven spheres of society. They are equipped with faith, knowledge and basic skills that help them to envision their lives in accordance with the “Wheel of Life”.

Because God is passionate about restoring His people to their inheritance, MEA
identifies land on which agricultural and other technical skills development
programs are offered to father sons in farming, making food production and a
variety of other industries family business and conduits of faith.

The inequality and poverty taunting most communities today trace their roots
back to the years of oppression where faith, resources, knowledge and skills were monopolized and weaponized. MEA sees the answer to this injustice in realigning faith with land and skills transfer. We reach out to those communities where pockets of land lay fallow, to equip the youth with skills.

Because education and empowerment without godliness only result in corruption, MEA uses agricultural knowledge as a conduit to bring society into divine alignment with its creator, reviving faith in God in the agricultural sector, turning the people in peri-urban and peri-rural areas into God-fearing food producers.

Government, one of our strategic partners, may lease land to MEA (this includes existing underutilized farms) for agricultural empowerment projects, in addition to other resources pertinent to its mandate, such as approvals, endorsements, technical support and funding.
